Classic 1980’s XXX
Hi fellow classic porn lovers and sorry about not posting any movies or photos earlier this week but it has been a hectic one helping a friend out with a project that ultimately I hope will filter back to us here. Anyway I can tell you more about it next post which I promise will not be as far apart as this and the last one was.
I have found myself in a bit of an 1980’s mood recently, no I do not mean I have had a big perm and wear massive shoulder padded suits, I mean I have been watching more 80’s classic porn than anything else. I still do think you cannot beat a true 1970’s golden age classic like Debbie Does Dallas it is just that the 80’s stuff can just be a bit lighter and fun to watch.
I swear there is only about five male porn stars from the 1980′d that got anywhere as the same guys turn up in almost everything I watch. Take the legend Peter North as a perfect example in these clips but then you don’t ever see the girls complaining at having to suck and fuck him again. Why not see how many Peter North pornos you can see at Pleasure Classics.

Yes, the ’80s wave of porn was ruled by North, Randy West, Joey Silvera, Tom Byron, and Randy Spears, plus a couple of others who emerged in the late ’80s, like Rocco Siffredi. Just goes to show that the job of professional woodman has always been a fairly exclusive one.
Incidentally, I’d love to see some coverage done on the great Ms. Sharon Mitchell, a staple of the late-’70s and early ’80s. Always got a sure turn-on from her, and she has gone on to accomplish groundbreaking work as the founder and director of Adult Industry Medical (AIM). Always felt that she never really got the attention that she so richly deserved.

Forgot to mention the late Mark Wallice, who was a regular face - along with his trademark “banana dick” - throughout the ’80s. Wallice contracted HIV/AIDS, from which he died in 1998, making him the second high-profile victim in the industry following John Holmes.

Also, thank you for anything you may post regarding Sharon. She’s such a classy lady. I’ve seen her speak on industry health topics in recent years (incidentally, I’ve worked in production for many years), and Sharon is always exceedingly intelligent, candid, funny, and a shining example of one of the truly great women of porn. She’s a wonderful interview subject, and is fondly - and lustfully - remembered for her many screen appearances in the ’70s and ’80s. Failed to mention that Sharon worked as a performer well into the ’90s, having began around 1976. In 1996, she was stalked and raped, leading to her eventual retirement from porn. From that senseless - and what for most women can be a lifelong, progress-hindering life event - she went on to achieve a medical degree and pursue her passionate and tireless work with AIM. I can’t say enough about how much that agency has impacted the adult industry, making it safer for performers and establishing strong health standards that today extends to sex workers everywhere and in all areas.
And at the age of 53, Sharon is still a stunning beauty - inside and out… no pun intended… (;^)
